Celabrae LLC ("Celabrae," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use celabrae.com, create an account, submit an application, or otherwise interact with our services.

  • Application information including business name, contact details, service categories, certifications, licenses, EIN or tax ID, insurance details, and other professional credentials.
  • Communications you send us, including emails, support requests, and feedback.
  • Files you upload such as certificates of insurance and licenses.
  • Background check authorization, where applicable, including information required for a consumer reporting agency to conduct the check.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser information.
  • IP address and approximate location.
  • Usage data including pages visited, time spent, and actions taken.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 7.

Information From Third Parties

  • Consumer reporting agencies that conduct background checks on applicable applicants.
  • Payment processors when transactions occur on the platform.
  • Authentication providers if you sign in through a third party service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To review and process your application.
  • To verify credentials, insurance, licenses, and run background checks where applicable.
  • To communicate with you about your application and the platform.
  • To improve our services and develop new features.
  • To comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and protect the safety of our community.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the platform, including hosting providers, email senders, payment processors, and background check vendors.
  • With hosts, members, or partners on the platform only when required to facilitate a booking or event, and only to the extent necessary.
  • To comply with legal process, court orders, or law enforcement requests.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
  • With your explicit consent.

4. Background Checks

For certain applicant types, including service providers, professional planners, and others who may interact directly with hosts and guests, we may conduct background checks through a licensed consumer reporting agency. We will only run these checks after you provide separate written consent through our Background Check Disclosure and Consent. You will receive a copy of any consumer report obtained, and we will follow all requirements of the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable state laws.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services. We may retain certain information longer to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing dakota@celabrae.com.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and similar laws in other states. These may include:

  • The right to know what information we have about you.
  • The right to request correction or deletion of your information.

  • The right to non discrimination for exercising these rights.

Celabrae is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Users

Celabrae is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date and notify you by email or through the platform if the changes are material. Your continued use of Celabrae after changes means you accept the updated policy.
